Will Obama be reelected in 2012? Obviously, many of the putative conservatives and libertarians who voted for him based on his rhetoric rather than his record are already having second thoughts as he rapidly seeks to implement a radical plan of socialization. They are not likely to repeat their mistake in 2012. On the other hand, the “stimulus package” will serve as an enormous slush fund to maintain or increase the Democratic majority in Congress in 2010 and propel Obama to reelection two years later. Manipulation of the census figures and vote fraud will also redound to the benefit of the Democrats. It’s too early to call. We can only hope that Obama is resoundingly rejected in 2012, as it is unlikely that our nation can survive two terms of him and his fellow travelers.
