Feel free to publish, post, or pass on Your Weekly Politickle by F.R. Duplantier:
When I’m hungry, I do not devour
Something sweet, bitter, salty, or sour:
No, I swallow salami,
That savory tsunami,
Let that pepper my palate empower.
From the archive
In addition to boiled shrimp and crab,
Goose pâté, artichokes, gumbo zab,
Crawfish bisque, and wild rice:
A syringe filled with spice,
’Cause the turkey is getting the jab.
Thursday’s carcass long after supplies
Turkey Sandwiches, Stews, and Pot Pies;
Turkey Omelets, Fettucini,
Turkey Gumbo, à la King, and Surprise.
OOH LA LA!
A fried turkey injected with spice,
Shrimp-stuffed mirlitons and dirty rice,
Pecan pie, oyster dressing –
How we rush through the blessing!
Yes, a Creole Thanksgiving is nice.

“You’ll own nothing and be happy,”
Says Klaus Schwab, who’s feeling crappy.
Klaus is in a snit
And throwing a fit:
Someone needs to change his nappy.
