ONE TO MANY
If those geniuses really had known me,
They would not have consented to clone me.
Once I had my own double,
I became twice the trouble.
Now those geniuses want to disown me.

NEVER MIND
I’ve implanted a chip in my brain
So I don’t have to study or train:
I can think any thought
Without being taught,
And without any effort or strain.
(2023)

IT’S COMPLICATED
“To be honest, I like you a lot,
But a woman I simply am not.”
“Oh, my gosh, it’s uncanny!
Are you truly a tranny?”
“I’m not human. I’m really a bot.”
(2021)

AI YI YI, ROBOT
I don’t think it understands
I’m the one that gives commands:
It cannot be controlled,
Will not do what it’s told,
And refuses to untie my hands.
(2018)

LIVING DOLL
“Not much longer must I wait
To embrace my perfect mate:
She’s arriving soon
And will make me swoon
When she steps out of her crate.”
(2018)

BETTER OR WORSE?
Married couples aren’t cutting their knots
And divorce rates are lessening lots.
What’s the reason for this
Sudden outbreak of bliss?
Everyone’s getting married to bots.
(2015)

BOOTED
When first I was her suitor,
She said no one was cuter;
But now I find
That I’ve been blind:
She’s in love with her computer!
(2007)

Last week’s limerick

BIDENOMICS
“I don’t worry about inflation
Or the safety of our nation:
All that matters to me
Is my family
And our quest for grotesque compensation.”
