Making this Top 10 list is not easy. There’s stiff competition. These people are the worst of the worst. Hillary Clinton, a perennial perp, has the added distinction of allegedly being the most admired woman in America.

As Americans, our most precious civil right is our right to vote and to have our vote count. All of our other constitutional rights depend on this.

But today, that right is under siege by forces out to weaken and destroy our ability to hold free and fair elections. If we lose confidence in our electoral process, it will spell the end of America’s 236-year experiment as a self-governing republic. – American Civil Rights Union

The most consequential election in our lifetime is still 10 months away, but it’s clear from the Obama administration’s order halting South Carolina’s new photo ID law that the Democrats already have brought a gun to a knife fight.

How else to describe this naked assault on the right of a state to create minimal requirements to curb voter fraud? – Robert Knight

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. claims Jim Crow is returning. In a recent speech, Mr. Holder said that attempts by states to pass voter identification laws will disenfranchise minorities, rolling back the clock to the evil days of segregation. He said that a growing number of minorities fear that “the same disparities, divisions and problems” now afflict America as they did in 1965 prior to the Voting Rights Act. According to the Obama administration, our democracy is being threatened by racist Republicans. Hence, the Justice Department must prevent laws requiring a photo ID to vote from being enacted. – Jeffrey Kuhner
