Your Weekly Politickle: Q-LESS

Feel free to publish, post, or pass on Your Weekly Politickle by F.R. Duplantier:

You can say you were somehow deprived,
But the warnings online were archived:
It’s apparent that you
Just do not have a clue
And don’t know that the storm has arrived.

From the archive

Please be patient, you’re in for a treat,
Grab some popcorn and find a good seat,
Soon the show will begin
And the good guys will win
As the bad guys go down to defeat.

Once impeachment is finally done,
We can then start to have some real fun,
Watching Democrats squirm
As the tables are turned
And they find that they’ve no place to run.

Though it seemed it would never appear,
2020 is finally here:
When our victory is won
And the Deep State undone,
It will be such a glorious year!

“I surrender and beseech thee:
Though I know you’d like to teach me
A lesson or two,
I beg of you,
Please, please, please, do not impeach me!”

Every “truth” in their credulous creed
Was instilled by the MSM feed:
How their heads will explode
When the false “facts” erode
And the real truth comes out at warp speed!

Though for months it has seemed like a dud,
The drip-dropping will soon be a flood,
And the things we will hear
As elections draw near:
Dirty Democrats covered in mud!

(as sung by HRC)
I can’t remember if I cried
When I realized I’d been denied,
But something scorched me deep inside
The day “collusion” died.

Why? Why? My American spies –
Comey, Brennan, and their brethren –
Were unethical guys,
But those good old boys
Came up empty and dry,
Leaving me no way to defy
Leaving me no way to defy.

I was a homely, enraged, pompous frump
With an insane notion I could outwit Trump,
But I knew I was out of luck
The day “collusion” died.

I started singing Why? Why? ETC.

Last week’s limerick

When you offered to hire us [cough, cough],
We did not have the virus [cough, cough].
Rest assured, then, that we [cough],
Are still virus-free [cough],
So there’s no need to fire us [cough, cough].
